itabi is a travel planning application that helps users:

  • Import and organize travel plans
  • Generate optimized itineraries
  • Collaborate with travel companions
  • Share location during trips (optional)
  • Track visited places and maintain trip records

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use itabi, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to itabi, including:

  • Trip names, notes, and itineraries
  • Imported documents
  • Photos and other media

License Grant

By uploading content, you grant itabi a limited license to:

  • Store and process your content to provide the service
  • Share your content with trip companions you invite
  • Use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our services

Content Standards

Your content must not:

  • Violate any intellectual property rights
  • Contain illegal or harmful material
  • Include private information of others without consent

Intellectual Property

The itabi app, including its design, features, code, and content, is owned by itabi and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission.

Third-Party Services

itabi integrates with third-party services including:

  • Google Maps and Places
  • Google Docs and Sheets
  • Firebase services

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Premium Features and Payments

itabi may offer premium features through subscription or one-time purchases:

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • Cancellation must be done at least 24 hours before renewal
  • Refunds are handled according to App Store/Play Store policies
  • Prices may change with notice to existing subscribers

Disclaimers and Limitations

Service "As Is"

itabi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Accuracy of place information, hours, or recommendations
  • That itineraries are optimal or fit your specific needs
  • Real-time location accuracy

Travel Disclaimer

itabi is a planning tool only. We are not responsible for:

  • Your safety, health, or well-being during travel
  • Accuracy of place information, opening hours, or prices
  • Changes to attractions, transportation, or services
  • Missed reservations or transit connections
  • Lost or stolen items

Always verify critical information independently and exercise good judgment during your travels.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, itabi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

  • We discontinue the service

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
